The Challenge

Despite having developed a comprehensive communication strategy, but the challenge lies on how to move the strategy into actions beyond just as a document reference. Moreover, on the ground situation is very dynamic and it requires alignment across diverse teams working with government, donors, academics, media, and local communities. Different stakeholder groups interpreted conservation issues differently, creating challenges in delivering consistent and relevant messages on the ground.

Our Approach

  • Finding the gap between the current document and real life situation, to be translated into a meaningful and effective capacity-building workshop involving cross-functional program teams.
  • Tailored the module structure and topics, as well as combined them with the right amount of knowledge and practice to be easily understood by participants
  • Design a thoughtful module delivery that enable active participation throughout the sessions
  • Include reflections and feedback to ensure measurable output post the workshop

The Result

  • Enhanced participants’ understanding of stakeholder engagement and communication planning.
  • Strengthened capability to tailor messages for government, informed audiences, and community beneficiaries.
  • Improved readiness to operationalize the SERUMPUN Babel communication strategy.
  • Established a common communication framework to support long-term stakeholder engagement and program implementation.
