VinFast, an electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer from Vietnam, has officially entered into a strategic partnership with PT Arimbi Amartapura (Amarta), a seasoned automotive distributor in Indonesia. This collaboration aims to strengthen VinFast’s market presence in the country through the development of an expanded showroom network over the next three years.
Amarta is recognized for its strong capability in analyzing the dynamics of the national automotive market, supported by a robust distribution network. This partnership is expected to enhance VinFast’s operational efficiency and competitiveness amidst the rapidly evolving EV industry. It also reflects VinFast’s broader commitment to accelerating the clean energy transition in Indonesia’s transportation sector.
Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, described the partnership as a strategic move to bring VinFast closer to Indonesian consumers, aligned with the company’s dedication to building an inclusive and sustainable EV ecosystem. To date, VinFast has established partnerships with 14 dealers operating 21 showrooms across major cities such as Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and Bali.
