The Challenge
The Tri Hita Karana Forum is an influential platform connecting global and local stakeholders from public, private, and civil groups to advance climate actions and the SDGs. The theme “Future Knowledge and Blended Finance” emphasizes fostering collective, high-impact initiatives that balance the needs of people and the planet. Organized under the patronage of the President of Indonesia, the forum is supported by the Indonesian government and various international partners such as ICC, UN SDSN, and WEF. The Forum needs to be introduced and positioned as Indonesia’s strategic platform, impactful initiative and national pride, with support from ID COMM.
Our Approach
ID COMM was selected as its public relations consultant to increase public awareness and enhance event’s visibility by crafting a ‘road-to’ narratives leading up to the event. ID COMM served as the information hub and managed media relations during the forum, facilitating communication with national and international media. ID COMM also created and managed the THK Forum’s social media presence, establishing tone and style, creating branding guidelines, and generating content for Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
The Result
ID COMM’s strategic approach, complemented with the active participation of the audience, resulted in substantial media coverage, with more than 500 articles published in local, national, and international outlets, effectively broadening the reach of the Forum’s themes. The increased activity on social media significantly amplified discussions about sustainable development during the event. This strengthened engagement, driven by the active involvement of our audience, led to more interactions among important stakeholders, such as government officials, experts, and business leaders. The Forum received positive feedback from these groups, as proved by social media analytics, underscoring its success in fostering meaningful conversations on sustainable development.
